Subcommittees:
- Getting Ahead groups- It is a group where participants examine the impact poverty has had on their life and develop resources and future story. www.gettingaheadnetwork.com/
- Critical Mass- This subcommittee willl be working to market and encourage all sectors of the community to attend Bridges training and apply the concepts to their agency or business. There are three members of the community pending certification in Bridges' constructs.
- Systemic Change-This group will begin to look at action steps to improve our community. Some of their focus may include transportation, affordable housing, predatory lending, etc.
- Grants-This subcommittee will seek funding and grants to pay for the activities of this group.
