Our Mission is to eliminate homelessness and alleviate poverty in Hancock County through individual and community education, affordable housing and advocacy.

System of care must:

• protect the rights of individuals and families
• be committed to program innovation
• be effectively integrated and coordinated across systems
• build community capacity to serve families
• emphasize prevention and intervention
• identify and solve housing problems
• include advocacy on behalf of the homeless by the staff and board

Services must:

• be culturally respectful
• be evaluated for outcomes continually
• be delivered by competent staff
• be accessible, accountable, and comprehensive
• be individualized to meet the needs of individuals and families
• be strength-based and delivered in the least intrusive manner
